I am looking to buy and install the Scorpion 100cc big bore kit on my scooter. my question is if I buy the kit with the power pack is there anything else I need to buy or do to make scooter drivable?

I could also use info on the best place online to buy the kit so I am getting everything brand new, and not a kit someone couldnt install themselves and decided to sell instead(ebay).

Also you will need to upjet your carb to at least a 90 -95 main jet

I installed their kit 2 months ago on my 50cc (now 100cc (actually you end up at 83cc).

It's good quality and went well. I now have about 400 miles on the kit and it's doing great. I really like the extra umph off the line. Going up hills is MUCH better. I used to fall back to 22mph but now climb pretty good grades and never drop below 32 to 33.

Check out alleyoops suggestion.  There are several suppliers of quality kits.

Before the kit I did good to get to 25 on my street.  Now I can hit 30-35 easily.

Pulls good up to 30. I can hit about 43 now. Big difference and I'm glad I did it.

You probably will need to do some carb rejetting. That can take some patience to get it right.

Here go read this thread this guys know there 50cc stuff, MILLSC has built many storming 50s, and will answer your question on big valve heads.

thanks for all the help, but . I have one more question. the kit I just ordered cam with exhaust, variator, roller weights and all. being that I have never rebuilt a scooter is there anything I should know or buy that didnt come with kit. kit was from ebay the $150 scorpion big bore kit with performance pack

how many miles on it?,,,if it's many thousands i'd get a new cam chain

That is literally the WORST seller on ebay by experience. Your going to have problems show within the first 100 miles, or your rings are going to get worn for no reason. Don't but it!
