If you do NOT have a Light switch on the right Handgrip(which would mean your lighting is DC powered straight from the battery) Then YES, the headlights will come on once the Motor starts they are fed once the Stator Starts to make voltage. Alleyoop

Alleyoop here is an update... I have crossed the wires you suggested and it worked!!! Thank you so much !!! The scooter now turns over, the lights on the speedo light up as the motor turns over, same with the brake & head lights... I even almost started the scooter... Turns out i have another problem... i have no spark, for a moment it sounded like it would start but didn't... I tested the sparkplug by taking the plug out and grounding the end to the frame while trying to start it. Now i'm searching the forums for troubleshooting guides.... I noticed one of the two small wires from the coil had very low voltage going to it when trying to start.. it was .25V+ Alleyoop Any advice where to start?

See if the color code on the Cdi and or the coil wires are going into that plug,,,, one or both of them may not be powered up

Here is a good video on how and what to test for a no spark: Also Make sure you ground the plug ON THE MOTOR NOT ON THE FRAME. It could spark on the frame but not on the motor. The MOTOR has to have a good GROUND to the FRAME otherwise NO SPARK. Alleyoop Also you may try and see if the KILLSWITCH is grounding out the CDI, to test that pull the KILLWIRE out of the CDI(TOP WIRE ON THE TWO PLUG IS THE KILLWIRE).
