The turn signal stalks on the Piaggio bv250 are just horrible! I noticed that the left side was loose after o hung my helmet on the helmet rack a day or so after getting the bike. When I tried to adjust it came off in my hand. The plastic in the base is soft enough to cut with a knife and crumbles like week old bread. I glued it together with Gorilla glue and it held but I have been very careful moving around them. Yesterday I found the right side dangling. I too was just crumbling. I tried gluing it in place last night and it didn't work because the substrate just crumbled. I took the base of the stalk off the bike this morning and tried cleaning it up but list a lot of material. I glued it back together again but at best it will be a little odd looking. The European Beverlys have internal turn signals and apparently came up with this garbage to meet US DOT requirements but they they are no better than having no turn signal at all if thay are hanging down around the rear wheel. Any suggestions other then buying the same old OEM crap to replace them?

i usually switch to the teardrop WPS led units with the digital flasher so it's a nice steady flash rate,,,cheap and made for dualsports so they can take a whack or two without grenading

The wps led teardrops are perfect for this machine,,,it mirrors the stock signals shape really well they're just smaller,,,and they are very bright so no worries about not being seen,,,even on the sunniest days

who me??,,,i get them off ebay,,,i can send you a pic,,,pm me,,,or i can take a pic and post it here tomorrow,,,i have a few packs of them in my rollaway at home,,,they are nice,,it's the only ones i use now after spending who knows how much on signals,,,i went thru them like toilet paper,,,the ones i run now are the only ones i've found that work and last,,,let me see if i have a pic of them on this computer and i'll post it if i do

lots of people think all the "big name brands" don't have their woes,,,it just isn't so,,,i never had a more finicky machine than my et4 vespa,,,
