Why are the (I would call GUIDES) called SLIDES ?.. They don't slide do they ?. I noticed in all my search for them that they are mostly called SLIDES. You type it in and you usually come up with SLIDERS.. that you're not looking. for..

Well they do slide in and out on the metal GUIDE built into the Variator Plate.

OK, Alley thanks, now I know what to call them. Still think the proper name would be GUIDES because they keep the plate in place..  .. |
