Hi, I have a BMS Heritage 150cc scooter and it won't start now with electric starter. The kick starter works, but electric starter doesn't. The lights do not dim, so the battery is fine. I took apart the front of the scooter, but didn't find the starter. I searched the internet but could not find a repair manual for the scooter. Can someone please help me, where is the starter located? Or if anyone knows where to find the manual.

You should also check your solenoid and all wiring connections from the battery on down,,,also when you locate the battery if you follow the positive wire away from the battery you will get to the solenoid then from the solenoid to the starter,,,check the solenoid leads as well

You need to test whether or not you are getting 12v DC to your starter when you hit the starter button. I have a feeling it's your solenoid. Mine went out, and I just put a toggle switch between the battery and the starter while I waited for the solenoid to come in the mail.

Thank you for all the answers! About a week later my scooter started on its own. I think continuous rain may have caused it to not start before. I keep it under the tarp now. I'll bookmark this page for when I have this problem again. Again, thank you very much!
