Hello, I just purchased a Lintex 150cc scooter for cheap. It appears it was crashed at some point but drives good and straight. I was able to repair the electric start and wired a kill switch, the connections behind the front headlight is where I am having difficulty, it appears that some connections were ripped out or off, I am just trying to gauge what goes where, the speedometer works on the dash but nothing else, I am most concerned about brake light, headlight and blinkers at this point. I dont know if anyone could point me to a clear schematic or post a picture of their 150cc chinese scooter's wiring that should help me put everything back together.
Thanks for the help. Mike

The Brake Switch feeds voltage to the Solenoid for the starter and the Brake Lights. So Test the wires going to the Brake switch with the KEY ON it should have voltage. There is always voltage at the Brake Switch with the KEY ON and the way it works is WHEN you squeeze the Brake(either one) it passes the voltage to a GREEN/YELLOW wire that goes to a plug near the SOLENOID and it splits GREEN/YELLOW wire goes to the SOLENOID and ANOTHER goes to the BRAKE LIGHTS. So tape the brakes on and go to the tail lights and test to see if the GREEN/YELLOW wire has voltage, if it does then it may just be the bulb or the GREEN GROUND WIRE is not grounding the socket. I guess the other problem is that someone cut all the wires coming off the key, I believe there is at least a GREEN/BLACK hanging off the key switch, I do have the keys if theres a way to hook it back up.

Are you saying there is A GREEN wire and a BLACK WIRE hanging or 1 wire GREENandBLACK? Because from the key a BLACK WIRE is the one that gets voltage when the KEY IS TURNED ON and that BLACK WIRE then feeds into a plug which distributes the voltage to whatever it needed from that plug. An all green wire is GROUND. I do see a BLACK and WHITE wire which is the KILLWIRE that goes to the CDI and grounds it. But there is quite a mess I see RED WIRES which I assume area carrying 12 volts from the battery with some bad splices BARE WIRES? I see a lot of not connected wires IS THIS A STOLEN SCOOT? I cannot imagine the wire mess on that scoot caused from a crash someone was bypassing crap to get it up and running. Alleyoop
