I always use PayPal and I don't have it linked to an account. I just make sure I have the amount I need in the payPal account. That's it. I refuse to link it to my bank. When I know I'm going to buy something, I transfer the amount I need to the PP account and then make the purchase. where do you transfer your cash from? Just trying to get this high level banking straightened out in my head. Actually i may not have paypal linked to a working account anymore as I had to close it when the hackers hit Home Depot a few months back. I've made notifications only as deemed necessary. Im wondering if I'm ok just not waking the sleeping giant.

The cash transfer is from your bank to the paypal account. Yea, Apple and Google are trying to get cut into PayPals pay method. Competition is good and makes the leader make some good changes to keep the customers (HAHA).

I do an electronic transfer from my bank account. But I'm not linking the accounts. I tell my bank to transfer $XX to my PP account. PP never sees my bank account. They don't care where your money comes from as long as you maintain a balance with them. And my PP is a business account also. So I also use it for incoming money from the net.
