Do I need a fuse for a cigarette port if my GPS has a fuse?

It does not have a fuse. Do I need a fuse if my GPS has a built-in fuse?
	My first scooter was a used 125cc 1988 Yamaha Riva. I put 10,000 miles on that scooter. My current scooter is a Genuine Buddy 170i.

I would install an inline fuse, on Any accessory circuit . It will protect your scooter if there happens to be a hard short like a pinched wire either in your circuit or the accessory you plug in.
