On my 150, removing the cover and turning the clutch bell by hand WILL turn the rear wheel. It should NOT turn the clutch, belt or variator until it hits more than like 2k rpm. the clutch should then engage and turn the rear wheel. if you can turn the clutch bell with the motor off and engage the clutch, there is a problem.

Lol. So I took the plunge and had a shop look at it. He sad it was the clutch. So he changed it and cleaned the carburetor. It seems to be fixed. But it seems slower the scooter now. Is that normal?

WOW!! Those are some tore up weights. I would bet the Plastic guides on the Variator Plate are trash as well. I can see you ride like you stole the scoot. The way you treat that poor thing you need to open up the CVT and check about every 500 miles your belt, Variator and weights and guides. But yea that is why it is a lot slower. Alleyoop

Lol. I was riding almost WOT all the time. But now that the clutch was changed, it seems like its a little slower now. Does it take time to break in?

Here is part of it. Your clutch is fine they do not have to break in YOUR problem is the Variator weights in your picture LOL. you need to order some new weighs and guides, do you know what gram weights were in there to begin with? If not take the weight that is at least somewhat round and weigh it, if they are all trashed you probably can use 5-6 gram weights.

I have no idea what that is. The guy gave it back to me and said it was my old clutch. I didn't know the clutch had weights in it? He put a whole new clutch in it.

That's what I figured! That didn't look like the clutch? $65 for it.

I know what the clutch part looks like. It has the pads and springs. He's a Chinese guy. Why would he say he changed the clutch?

Who knows how much did he charge you that will at least tell maybe he changed both variator and clutch.

The weights he put in are probably a little heavier than what was in there and that is why you notice it is slower. You should also notice that your RPMS are not as high as before. Does your scooter have a tach that registers RPMS?

No it doesn't. But I do notice that it doesn't tach as high as it used to. He charged me $110. $65 for clutch and $45 for labor. So you think he changed that clutch in the back too? Either way. I would have to put in lighter rollers to bring it back to speed? That means I have to try and take it apart? crap! He said to let it wear in a little since its new parts. I can weigh one of the rollers
