Man 08 was a good year, I've got two 08 scooters, what I remember most was the $4 a gallon gas making scooter sales rocket!

Oh Tom. The scooter numbers you're posting are Motorcycle Industry Council numbers. Members include, among scooters, Yamaha, Suzuki, Honda, Piaggio and BMW. See a common thread there? All the expensive stuff. I read somewhere that registrations of scooters in like 2013 were double those of MIC. So MIC sells about 50% of the scooters, crappy companies like Bintelli, Wolf, Lance, SYM, Kymco, Motorino and a host of online sellers do the other 50%. Let's see, hmmm. A Yamaha SMax for $4000 or a SYM HD 200 for $3400? Which would I take?
How about a cruddy Citicom for $4900 or a Honda Forza for $5800. Or maybe a Vespa 300 for a piddling $6500?
Cheap bastards like me would probably buy a Linhai 300 from John for $2800, but that's just me.
