Hey
Well change of plans lol, I couldn't figure out why I could get this to turn over well I was trying all these different jet sizes and not looking to anything else so I had to go back to basics, did the scooter get spark yes... compression yes....gas yes.... vacuum leaks no...well all this was figured out after I put the stock setup back in and still wouldnt turn over, we'll after trying and trying it was the cheap performance cdi "ebay" that was the issue I put the stock cdi in and started on the first try.... it just sucks now because the Rev limiter is back and the bike feels a lot slower

150 and up DO NOT HAVE REV limited CDIs. Some 50s come with a REV-LIMITED CDI to keep them 25-30mph and treated as MOPEDS that do not require license. So your problem is Variator Weights which are limiting your rpms. So check your Weights and see how many grams 1 weight is. You probably need 1-2 gram lighter weights to get your rpms up. Alleyoop

I actually never knew 150cc wasnt rev limited huh, I have 12g koso rollers in and i noticed the scooter has progressavily gotten harder to start its basically just grinding now so im about to park the ole scooter and pull out the ninja, but I dont have a clue what going on with this scooter.... I even went back to stock carb and jets and still performs the same, its starting to bog on heavy throttle on top of the variator issues now so I think im about to park the scooter for winter and build it for summer next year, so im about to create a new thread on performance mods for the 1p57qmj eninges, and thanks agin for your alls help.

Your bogging is just a fuel delivery problem either to much fuel or to much air. You need to adjust the carb and find out what jets are in the carb. What variator issue do you think you have? Is it because the motor is not building enough rpms? That is very easly fixed with lighter weights? Does you scoot have a tach you need a tach to correctly tune the cvt and motor otherwise your just guessing. Get a Trail Tech little tach they run about 35 bucks or so and install in 5 minutes. So if you are going to get these scoot to run good like you want it to you need a tach on it. A Tach is a must, it is your fortune teller, it tells you the past present and future of how the MOTOR and or CVT is performing. www.trailtech.net/digital-gauges/tto/742-a00Alleyoop
