The intake is under the seat, and I know in the car world people have used pvc pipe as a cai, now the bad thing is under the hood of the car, the heat makes pvc release nasty fumes, wondering if I would have that same problem with my scooter. I want to find a pipe that will slip inside the intake runner, and mount to the bracket that is used for the brake line guide.

The only PVC you will find is the one on the VALVE COVER that allows the crankcase to breath and that has a hose connected to it because when and if the pressure in the crankcase gets to high it squirts oil out the hose. So that hose you have to make sure it is VENTED and not kinked. Most of us zip tie that hose HIGH on the frame with a fuel filter on the end of it so if it does squirt oil out it does not get all over the motor and or tires. Alleyoop

I would think you wouldn't have the heat that is contained by the cars enclosed body. You also aren't contained in the same body. Yes I do understand about the gas given off by the plastic. It's a problem in home heating as well. Try painting it with 'heat resistant' paint to seal it.

Alleyoop I am talking about pvc pipes: polyvinyl carbonate. Using it as a cheap performance intake versus expensive online options.
