So my scooter didn't have any spark after reading a bit on here I found out how to bypass the kill and safety switches by pulling the black wire on the cdi. It worked! Had spark and she fired right up:thumbup: so.. Now I need to figure out where my problem is since I connot kill my engine without unplugging the cdi. Note. The ignition witch on my scooter that was put in was from a ebike. But I did have the original one in but still had the same problem. Also the rear break handle was messed with I'm sure there's a switch on that side aswell right? So.. I need some help with finding out where these switches are like what wires are what?

Another question anyway I can just hook up a toggle switch to the kill wire on the cdi to kill the engine? I hope my posts make sense I'm a noob with with electricial stuff

You can hook up a toggle switch as a temp till you can sort out which of those switches is bad

Where would I hook it up to tho? Any ideas? I'm horrible at this electrical stuff. Would it hook up to the black kill wire on the cdi? If so where would the other wire go to?

To kill the motor the killswitch and the KEY on the off position GROUND out the BLACK/WHITE wire that goes to the TOP of the 2 plug on the CDI.
So get a toggle with off and on and 1 wire splice it onto the BLACK/WHITE wire going to the CDI, the other wire you go to GROUND.
