Hey, I've been having a lot of electrical problems with my Dongfang 250cc Sunny Scooter. I know that all you guys are very knowledgeable and hopefully someone can point me in the right direction to getting it back on the road. I have an 18 pole stator, my stator has 4 yellow wires and 1 blue. The 1 blue and 1 yellow is my pick-up wire.
1. I'm not getting enough voltage out of my stator to power the CDI. Is the power for the CDI coming from the stator or the pick-up wire?
2. Should my Ignition Coil be grounded on both sides? I've got 30ohms of resistance.
3. Can you please point me in the right direction for a wiring diagram for this type of scooter that works off ACTUALLY not DC, 6 wire Rectifier (3 yellow - 1 connection 3 pin; 1 red, black and green - 1 connection 3 pin). 18 pole stator 3 yellow 1 3 pin connector and pick-up 1 blue, 1 yellow. And, a 6 pin CDI.
I had it up and running until I replaced the flasher, got some help, got some more different help and now I am trying to do it myself with the help of forums, you-tube, books, internet, etc.
I would very much appreciate any and all help.

Is your CDI DC or AC? to find out test the bottom wire on the TWO PLUG of the CDI WITH KEY ON. If it registers 12volts it is a DC system. The Pickup Wire from the Pickup Coil is the TRIGGER to tell the CDI to RELEASE the voltage stored to the COIL to fire the plug. IF your CDI is DC then it is POWERED by the BATTERY when you turn the KEY ON. Alleyoop THis is how to test your stator: scooterdoc.proboards.com/thread/11756/check-3-phase-stator
