I wanted to update everyone. All finished with new final gears tonight (49-17T) on my 52mm 139qmb 88cc scooter with 20& 23mm cylinder head, valves, original carb, .005 on intake & exhaust valves, upgraded exhaust, .87 main and 7g rollers and upgraded vented clutch bell. I rode it home about 4miles to end the night. Had extremely high and damaging RPM'S before, accelerating and topping out (10k @ 45mph). *Now a consistent 7k acceleration and 8k @40mph. This wknd I'll see what she can get up to!

Good news, getting those rpms down was very important to have a longer lasting motor. Alleyoop

So I Finally took the scooter out to test the limits and 51MPH!!! @ 9,100 RPMS Wow what a HUGE difference this final gear made. Around 7-8k RPM acceleration and 9k also topping out. This is amazing especially without a new 44mm stroker that gives it 5 more cc's. I think I may do without it.
