Here's the one in the bank that I'm using. If anyone thinks that this just isn't a good idea, I'm of course, open to better wisdom. I'm definitely wanting safety to be foremost.

I think it's a great thing to do. In my truck I have the standard cigar lighter and a heavy duty port. I also have a Y splitter that doubles and outlet. I also have a couple extension cords. On my Honda Goldwing I installed two heavy duty outlets. When I get the scooter it will get at least one.

LOL! Magic smoke... Well, two days ago, I got stranded. My throttle handle sleeve broke away from its collar. I pulled into the bus /park and ride and tried to Macguyver it together with stuffs I found laying around to at least get me home, 3 miles away. ...no go. The electrical tape just couldnt get enough grab on the inner collar, and the plastic ring was too big to create any friction against it. I had to call AAA, dagnabbit! So, I got my replacement today, slapped it on, even repaired my odometer and tripmeter while I was in there, went to the bank to get quarters to do laundry (Like a good girl, INSTEAD of going for a long ride) and the scoot wouldn't start at the bank! Had to walk a few blocks to get fuses that should have already been under the seat! (EDIT) I also just had to retrace a block of that walk because, there was a hole in my bag of fuses and I just found 5 of them half way around my block, lol! NOW, I'm home doing laundry and am here to tell ya, IF smoke can be had, THIS girl will probably SEE IT! LOLOL!!!

Wow I haven't seen a broken throttle tube in like forever,,,next time my dear woman open up the throttle case where the flange of the throttle tube is held,, disconnect the throttle cable and you can pull it that way ,,,,you can hold it down with your thumb on the broken tube and twist like normal,,,,,,,walking out of the Mohave desert 20-30 miles is not a nice option,,,,ask me how I know

You're right cyborg . I thought I was being ridiculous or stubborn, risking myself as I get a feel for the scoot. I thought I'd better actually use the insurance that I paid for, lol!

I have been there. A co-worker knocked over my motorcycle, picked it up and said nothing. It came off when I accelerated. I didn't have AAA at the time so I walked to the dealership for a replacement. It's best you did that than driving in the city with a defective throttle.
I had to use AAA Sunday and Monday for my truck. I had to do a panic stop in the round-a-bout and blow out both brake lines. It's still in the shop. So believe me, My Smoke was definitely let out.
