Big Bore installation problem. Need HELP! By mahnut (Read 597 times)

Hello guys, recently i have installed a 100cc bore kit for my 49cc chinese scooter. Followed the video on YouTube and carefully installed everything in order. The only thing i haven't used was torque wrench, After the whole procedure was done, i have e replaced the engine oil. The problem is that now scooter runs very hot, the top lid is super hot to the touch and the scooter is worsen in performance. Maybe i need other parts to make this work? What could be the problem? Could you guys tell me what to check for? Thanks!

If your running the original carb it's too small and you're running super lean,,,, this makes it run very hot which leads to damage,,,,, pull the plug and check the color,,, probably be white which is not good

ok so i have to adjust the screw to make it more richer. Yes, i did took out the plug and the tip of it appeared to be white. I ran it for maybe 20 minutes at such condition. Could the piston already be damaged? Also what do i do if i get uneven RPM's it goes up and down by 2 bars, and you can actually hear that its not running even. THANSK!

You need to go up in the main jet ,,,, I personally would go to a bigger carb,,,,
