my exhast has rusted away...muffler off no big deal about noise live in the county side but now the piece before where the muffler was of course rusted away also..there was a rubber hose connected to it that runs to the air intake before the filter housing. My question is how important is this? is it like a older car just to heat a cold carb? emmisions? do i need now to tweak the air fuel mix? Plug it and not worry? ok that was moore than one question lol

Strip all that stuff off and throw it,,, plug the spigot that goes to the air box and call it a deal ,,, unless you can find an oem direct replacement,, or aftermarket pipe and muffler,, chuck it
