Hey everyone, I'm stumped with my scooter right now. It's a 2007 motofino 50cc (handsome boy style). The issue I have with is what I believe is electrical. It will start but will not rev past 2000rpms. If you try to give it gas, it will act like if there was a rev limiter. It won't stall tho. It will only rev up if you press the rear brake lever when the rear tail light turns on. As soon as you let go, it won't rev up anymore. I've changed the ignition switch, CDI, coil, NGK spark plug. I've checked the CVT and it will spin. The carburator is brand new and clean. It ran fine prior to the issue. I'm guessing it's a ground. Any guidance will be helpful. Thanks.

Oh yeah, I forgot to add that the kill switch won't shut off the engine, only the key. I'm going to jump the ground today as well. I'll report back in a few hours.

I think I found the issue, I pull the harness up were the dashboard is at and the bike will rev up with no issue, if I let go the bike won't rev up anymore. I'm gonna cut open the harness and look for a bad wire.

Alright I tried a brand new harness. Turns on and revs fine but after a min it will stop revving like 10 secs after it runs. Only when you press the rear brake it will Rev again. Only the CDI, coil, voltage regulator and ignition switch is plugged in. Doesn't make no sense at all. I'll post a video.

More detail, the brake line where it connects is a little loose, I push it in, the bike runs flawlessly. I noticed a spark jumps to the frame via the brake line if you move it close enough. Any ideas?
