Time for my annual, class-A inspection, so I thought I'd strip the scooter of it's plastic for better access, and a bit of cleaning. Odometer now stands at 11,491.0. Checked valve lash, still maintaining .003", and .005", that makes nearly 9,000 miles with no adjustment needed. Replaced the original spark plug for the first time (even though it still looks and works fine). Opened the CVT, cleaned it up some, checked and measured the belt, it has lost .3mm in width since new...3,679 miles ago. Engine and transmission fluids changed. Checked wiring and connections. Replaced fuel and vac hoses, did that when scoot was new too, but that was 5 years ago. I like the tygon hose, but, because it does shrink some with age....need to cut it a bit longer than, just long enough to reach. Cleaned air filter pre-cleaner, dumped the fraction of an ounce of liquid from the catch can, and gave the whole area under the body plastics a cleaning. Can't seem to get an image to post right now......will try later.

Have it all back together now, and it's ready to ride. We're supposed to get 3 days at on near 60* this week, so I plan on getting a few miles in myself. Her we are in the last week in February, and I'm thinking of scootin......beginning to believe there might be something to this global warming nonsense after all.
