82* when I got home from my 32 mile coffee run....last leg of trip was 14 nonstop miles, starting at 460 feet, and ending at 1608 feet above sea level. Snapped this pic just after pulling in driveway. Not the least bit concerned, as it's normal to see temps well in excess of 210* while pulling the hills that surround me. Level running is another story....at moderate speeds the oil stays below 200*.....and in cool weather, you're lucky to get anywhere near 180*. Thought some of you might be interested

No it didn't....Jonway thought freaking speakers would be nice on a scooter. I needed something to fill the holes left in the glove box door, when the speakers were removed. That was back in May of 2012, when there was only 188 miles on the odometer. I took a bit of heat over the mounting location, in the linked thread......but both the volt meter, and oil temp gauge, have done there job for over 5 years, and more than 12,000 miles.
