Need help in assembling Honda 1978 Headlight bezel and buck By rapidrob (Read 435 times)

I just got a used headlight bezel and bucket to replace my dry rot one.
I have two questions on assembling the two as mine was missing parts when I got it.
First, there is a 2ND spring included in the "new" bucket that I have no idea as to where it goes?

2ND: there are no provisions to secure the speedometer in the bucket. The metal and rubber gaskets are there but any locking device is long gone.
How can I secure the speedo if parts are not available anymore?
