could this be the issue with my variator? the small plastic pieces the plate is supposed to slide on, apparently two have vanished. with a load on the sheave, it looks like it would side load those parts metal to metal, and the gear ratio wouldn't change picture didn't load i.imgur.com/5TKno1I.jpg |

time for new parts for sure as long as you are in there replace the rollers with right grams of weight. and get out riding LOL
