So I have put on a nibbi 26mm carb on my tao tao quantum 150 and I replaced the fuel lines I took off my oetcick and put on a shut off valve and ran my fuel straight to the carb I have removed my pair system and my egr I put on a nibbi intake manifold with a cold air tube and k and n filter, I have new exhaust new cdi with plug and coil and I can't get this thing to start I have killed my battery 3 times messing with the idle no and also the air fuel screw I have changed the jets to the lowest and made sure they were clean I Mena uts all brand new and ut won't idle if I take off the vacuum line off the carb it will idle high but as soo as you as I upon it up it dies every time I took 9ffer the carb there is gas everywhere in the carb and so I do t know what to do any help would work I havnt driven in over a week and my bike has all 5hese new parts and won't start thank.

I'd double check to see if all the fuel lines are hooked up correctly,,,several people put the fuel feed line on the bowl vent

There are two NIBBI 26mm CVT carbs on the market: V1 and V2. Rumor has it that the V2 is more like a Mikuni inside. I have the V2 on my 150cc Jiajue Zuma Clone and use a #118 main jet together with free-flow air filter and drilled-out muffler. Send pix and I can compare to what I have.

P.S. NIBBI also makes non-CVT carbs. You might want to clarify the exact model you have.

Thank you for the replies I have since my last post gotten the thing started I had a vacuum line hooked up to the side of the carb where I guess is a oil line if it was a 2 stroke. But I can not get this thing tuned for the life of me I changed the jets again and I have 120main and a 40 other jet I put my needle half way on the 5 notches and this thing back fires and so I go richer and then it won't start even with the idle nob all the way in and so I go and try to start it all over and start at the beginning and I still can't get it right I don't know what to do it goes when I give it gas but it seems like I'm all the way open and my cvt is all rapped out I checked and my belt is going all the way close to the edge and I'm only going maybe 40mph and motor wot so I need lighter sliders I guess but any help would realky he appreciated, but I have one file line straight to the carb with a manual valve and filter in between tank and carb, but my vacuum lines I have one going from my top of fuel tank to little black vent thing and head breather to filter and cvt to just air in don't have any line to the intake manifold it's open cause that's the only way it will start so I am stumped so please help thanks I will post pics in just a min
