I am having an issue with my scooter and I am trying to figure out what I am doing incorrectly. A little backstory, got a Jonway yy50qt-21 while in the military. Went less than 50 CC because they don't require mandatory training. I got out of the military, moved it sat for like 5 years. Replaced carb because it was dirt cheap for a new one, replaced petcock because fuel was going into the vacuum hose(figured diaphragm was eaten away by old gass), replaced sparkplug. It finally starts. But now my rear tire just spins and RPMs are high and I know it shouldn't have much power but has much less than it should. I look around there is a crack in the tube going from airbox to carb. I am like ok I could JBWeld it, but I like new parts. I have ordered the Airbox twice, both times it has came and supposedly compatible from two different companies. Both times same part came in and it isn't the same. I don't know exact terminology, but tube going from carb to airbox the air hose connection there is on the top on mine and on side on replacement part. I can deal with that. Part I cant figure out is on main housing of airbox there is a tube on top for air that is there on mine, but replacement part it is not. Am I missing something here? I am having issues posting pictures for some reason. I will try again later because that will probably help a lot. Until then if it helps the part I ordered is this one www.amazon.com/GOOFIT-Filter-Assembly-Scooter-Motors/dp/B00VRG3IP0/ref=sr_1_1?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1505513884&sr=1-1&keywords=jonway+air+cleanerthen the part I ordered again is this one www.amazon.com/Filter-Assembly-Scooters-Taotao-Roketa/dp/B00NRPLZHM/ref=pd_sbs_263_6?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=6QPKJZ4EJ7EF91WDE6ZTbut looks more like the orginal. Main different is behind the tub going to the carb, if you follow that to the body of the air box. There is a small air connection on the second one on top just behind where the tube hooks into the air box. My original has that, but every part I order does not. Does anyone have any ideas? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Part installed, the hose on the body of the airbox is what I am missing on new part. New part as you can see no connection on body of airbox for an air hose Also as you can see the hose connection on the tube going from carb to airbox is in a different location.

It may be the crankcase breather vent,,,,chase it down and if it is just zip tie it up high on the frame and put a small filter in it

could also drill a hole and stick a brass nipple in the air box.
