250 scooters discontinued? By account_disabled (Read 366 times)

Today I was talking with a dealer, and was informed by him that the 250 scooters are being discontinued because of the EPA. I had not heard this before, and being new to scooters, I am wondering about because I was planning to purchase one around spring. Is this actually true, or hype?

I didn't find the right solution from the internet.

The big money in scooters is in the 50cc class. Most online sellers have switched to 250cc bikes with the simple CG-250 motor. Now that there are 200cc scooters with GY6 motors the 250 scoots are probably in hiatus for a while.
