Hello everyone,
I am a newbie here on the forum and new to owning a scooter. I bought a used 2008 JCL MP250A and had a mechanic work on it to get it running for me. It seems to be working fine now, could use a bit more power, but, I am having this issue now when I am riding it will feel like the back end is floating side to side. I looked on here and found some posts where it talked about the nut on the back might be loose causing my tire to slide to the side. Can anyone show me where I would go to tighten it up?
I also have another issue, yet it is more of an annoyance than a real problem, but the built in radio on the scooter won't turn on and when I ride I hear a cracking buzz coming out of the speakers or when I put on my blinker lights to turn it buzzes with the blink, is this an easy fix and if so can someone show me how to fix it?
Sorry for the n00b questions I just want to keep my baby running tip top.

cyborg, Ok so I checked the bolts to the tire and the rear end and they seem to be tight but, when I put it up on the forks and grab the back wheel and move it back and forth I get play in the not just the wheel but the entire housing that connects to the frame. I pulled off the carburetor cover under the seat and I can see movement in the entire housing but I am not able to determine where the connection point is that would have the bolts to tighten. Would you be able to send me a link or a picture that would show me where I need to go to tighten this up if it is the problem?

It sounds like you are talking about the swing arm which engine, wheel, tranny, everything mounts to it. You may need to inspect the mounting of the swing arm bushings from what you are saying.

We've seen nuts come off the bolt that anchor the front of the engine to the frame,,,,also frame mounts crack,,, get under the bike with a good bright flash lite,,, move the engine around a bit,,, you'll find out what's loose
