ok this is bizarre, I can't get an ignition trigger signal, two different pickups, both 145 ohms, verify continuity when installed, gap is correct, when engine is cranked over, I have no voltage, I have tried both AC and DC even though it's pulsing DC, one of these pickups is known to be good, as I ran it before, is the part of the flywheel that triggers the ignition supposed to be magnetized? if it is, there is no magnetism in it, as nothing sticks to it.

I was going to suggest it but it's really rare,,,but I have seen it on the boards a time or two over the last three years,,,no personal experience myself,,,but I don't run Chinese stuff,,,

Apparently it's not magnetized the sharp edges cut the magnetic field of the permanent magnet in the pickup, inducing a voltage
