I have a 2008 Roketa MC-75-150K scooter with a 150cc 157QMJ engine. My old engine was too costly for me to have it repaired, so I purchased a GY6 150cc 1p57QMJ engine. I do not know what the "p" stands for. I see it on the sticker that is on the new engine. I did not see it labeled as such on the website that I purchased it from. Is there any difference between it and my original engine? The reason that I am concerned, is that the space between the two holes of the rear wheel bracket (swingarm) that connects the rear wheel and shock to the two holes on the rear end of the engine, is about 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch (just eyeballing). I put the same rear wheel and bracket back on the original engine, as a comparison, and the space is the same. Is this normal? Also, the drum pads rub against the drum for about 1/3 of the round, with the new engine mounted. Is this normal? Joining the bracket to the new engine, only took little effort.
Update...could it be that I am missing a spacer behind the big nut? I may have lost one after I took the large nut of. Somewhere in the forum mentioned elsewhere that the order of which parts are removed should be...nut first, then TWO washers (I may have lost one of the two), the swingarm, one two inch spacer, the wheel itself, then of course the axle.

The "P" engine is used in Buggy's and Yard karts... there are some dimensional change on the "P" engine.. there may even be a gearing change from your OE engine to the "P" engine anyway you can exchange the "P" engine for the correct one?

I went ahead and kept the new engine. I found a video online that showed where the spacers go. So, my question [issue] has been resolved.
Thanks....czmdiver!
