Yesterday I had to get two of the fleet inspected and the weather report was chancy. Showers were predicted at about the time I made the appointment for. It worked out that way too. After having the Rebel inspected the sky started opening on the way home. I only got a little wet but the roads hadn't gotten slippery so the trip was fairly easy.
What came next was much more exciting. This part of the world has interesting weather but yesterday was different. We were sitting watching TV when tornado warnings flashed on the screen. They even said a tornado was a possibility nearby. We hightailed it down to the basement for forty-five minutes until it was reported the storm had moved on. I laughed at the possibility of me riding the bike in a swirling wind above the ground but I'm glad it never got that close. Two of the fleet are set for another year.
