I know these bikes are being built by Zonshen but it says a lot about the other bikes with this engine, like Cleveland Cyclewerks for example, that it has some steam out of the box. Many of the low budget DP bikes online sellers have use the same motor. It especially says a lot when you consider that even a Lance 200 doesn't have the pep at $2700. Or a Vespa 155cc at $5500. The bike looks better all the time.

I got off the "suggested retail price train" a number of years ago,,,I couldn't and still can't justify the prices of everything let alone the high priced Italian spread,,especially when they have problems just like everybody else,,,and even more to buy parts let alone have a shop to take care of things,,,this little bomber looks like just the ticket

That is a cool bike. It's a Honda engine built by Loncin. That company is building the BMW C400X in its entirety for the Germans. They have a history of building stuff for Honda so you know they're not a fly by night outfit.

I do like it,,after getting rid of the bmw I wanted something a little more road friendly for two up riding,,short stints on the freeway but mostly back road stuff,,,the dr350 is a great bike but it's busy on the freeway,,it's not that it can't do it ,,just setup for the sprint and it's more at home on surface streets

What's really needed is for somebody with clout to start distributing these Chinese bikes at the prices they are now. Is a Yamaha SR-400 really $1500 better than a Genuine G400c? So many bikes like the CSC bikes, Cleveland Cyclewerks and the host of Chinese Dual Purpose bikes at bargain prices. Younger people might come aboard if they could get good bikes at less than Student Loan prices. The San Gabriel is a great all around bike that would serve as either a good first bike or a car substitute for an aspiring biker.

Sales are flat across the board on bikes of all sizes,,,with gas going thru the roof here in Cali this may make a spike in sales hopefully,,,I see gas hitting the $5 mark here by summer,,,so time will tell

I just think that if something sparks people's imagination like the original Cub then sales will take off again. Grom bikes seem to be moving people so maybe there's hope.
