I just laughed at the end when they said they wouldn't do a trip like that on a scooter again. If they used a big wheeled scooter like a BV-350 or some other 16" wheeled job they would have a much easier time. Of course any sized ADV bike would fair much better.

Yes that's the perfect solution if two wheels were chosen ,,the csc rx3 would be perfect

I'm sure this would give certain people apoplexy but a scooter is best suited for urban and short haul duties in my opinion. Maybe a couple of the six hundred plus sized scooters can handle long haul work but I have my doubts about 150s doing the job. These guys just learned the lesson the hard way.
