My wife has been urging me to sell off part of the herd. Last Sunday I said goodbye to my late wife's Honda Rebel. I stopped using it once the Nighthawk became roadworthy. I put the 2008 Bashan on Craigslist and had my email stir quickly. A woman raced over here to see it and bought it after a short test ride. While she was out her seventeen year old son eyed the 50cc Cub clone in the flock and asked if he could try it. He couldn't be stopped from riding around the neighborhood and paid the asking price without flinching. So now I'm down to a mere three bikes. The 750 Kawasaki, my 250 Nighthawk and the CF Moto 250. They are the bikes I have been using most and the others were sitting idle. I still have one Chinese scooter paired with a pair of old Japanese bikes. I already miss the pair but hopefully they get used and make other people smile.

When I began posting on Craigslist I first listed the Nighthawk figuring it was the same engine as the Rebel and the Rebel was newer. My wife said, "Why are you doing that?? The Nighthawk is the one bike you use most!!" So I pulled the ad and listed the Rebel instead. Now I have a 1991 and 1983 bike after ditching two 09s and an 08. Now I gotta get out there and ride more.

The last couple of days would have been primo but I got sucked into lawn maintenance. my wife promised me I could get out tomorrow while she goes food shopping. Maybe the big Kawasaki will escape the garage.
