I installed a 100cc big bore kit on my 50cc scooter and I also installed one on my buddys scooter and his goes 50 55 and I have the same kit as him and I can only go 35 40, why cant I go faster?!

Is everything EXACTLY the same?,,I mean same scooter engine carb size ,,,were they both new bikes?

yes everything is the same and no we both got our for cheap and I fixed both of them and now they both run perfect except his is faster. they both have the 100cc big bore kit and we both have 50cc scooter carb with upgraded jets. size 85 his is also the same and his scooter reaches speed of 50+ and mine has upgraded 50cc carb, stock head, it is already derestricted and I can only go 35 40.

If they are exactly the same then it boils down to tire pressures and final drive ratios,,,also there may be a restrict or block in the twist grip for the throttle,,check there

the throttle has 2 spot to attach the throttle cable in the throttle area not the carb end. I bought this scooter off my friend w no title I got it for 90 bucks. it runs great rn but idk what or if he has done anything to it, with that being said he might've put slider weights in the ct but I dont know for sure because I cant remove the 2 bolts the hold the variator and clutch on.

Iwas just going to say may be sliders,,they may be different

I guess I'm going to have to figure out a way to get it off so I can see if it has sliders

Yes,,they may be all worn and have bad flat spots so that may be your top speed problem as well,,,
