Hello, I'm a little on the desperate side in that my Honda Reflex (which has been sitting unused for months--I know, I deserve no sympathy for this) refused to turn over when I attempted to start it up. I have gone through the check list of starting this devil with no success. I have changed the spark plug, bought a new battery (the old one was 2 1/2 years old) and now I am stuck. I repeat, no sympathy for me: I let this vehicle sit for months without attempting to start it. Frankly, it is something I shouldn't be driving anymore. But! Here's the question: Are there any next steps you can recommend? All help will be appreciated. A word: When I attempt to start, the engine gives no response whatsoever.

Does it turn over but no fire?,,if that's the case then take off the intake air box from the carb and introduce some fuel and turn it over it should lite up briefly,,if it does then I'd say you need to clean the carb thoroughly paying close attention to the jets,,this is most likely where the problem is,,,plugged up jets
