Put on new starter. Took off old air box. Removed carb and cleaned jets. Fuel pouring out of carb when reinstalled and run. Took carb off and noticed no gasket in needle valve seat. Guess it fell out? Cut a piece of 5mm fuel line as seat. Adjusted float.
Took off canister(?) And simplified vaccine lines as I got poor suction at fuel pump. T'd all vacume lines together...manifold, carburetor, valve cover, and ran to fuel pump. Good fuel now but bike runs poorly. Possible flooding?
Maybe need new carb? Different float seat or does it even have one? Vacume lines not right?
Will install foam air filter to replace air box later.
Help!
Thanks!!!!!

Vacuum ports are on the.... intake manifold, right side of carburetor, and fuel pump/petcock. The valve cover port is for crankcase ventilation, relieving pressure from the bottom end......has no business being connected to vac lines. Either vent it to a catch can, or directly to the atmosphere. Some place a fuel filter on the hose, and zip tie it to the frame somewhere.
