I've had my 2014 Buddy 50cc sitting for 3 years without running. Only owner. As you can imagine, I haven't driven it much. 1250 miles on it. Decided to get it running again about a year ago, but of course it didn't start.
........... fast forward to this week....
Since deciding to get it running again, I've replaced the fuel line/filter, carb, exhaust, spark plug, stator, CDI, relay, and starter motor. I've cleaned out the gas tank, put a brand new battery in, and fresh gasoline. There's still oil in the scooter, as it's clearly visible in its tank. I can get it to idle (30+ minutes), but the second I turn the throttle it dies. When I start with throttle, and it starts, I can't get it to rev high or spin the back tire. The stock carb replacement says adjustable, and my friend said it needs to be dialed in properly. I have no clue what's right or wrong on the adjustments. It has a black spring loaded knob, and a screw on top, which needs a flathead.
Please, someone, anyone!! HELP!
