Hello, I have an old SYM 125cc scooter (air cooled). One of the front suspensions is leaking. I got a new oil seal with the same measurements, but i need help with how to disassemble the suspension so i can replace the oil seal and put some new oil. This is a picture of the top of the suspension. There is a black cap on top, which i was able to remove. This is a picture of how it looks like under the black cap. From what i understand this is a metal disc/cap which i need to push down, and then there supposed to be a clip which i need to remove, so i can take out the metal disc/cap. I actually can't see a clip there, but as you can see there is rust in there. Should i try to spray the rust with some WD-40 and let it penetrate for a while, before i try to push it inside? Is there a video or a guide on how to rebuild this type of front suspension? Thank you for any help.
