Hi from Georgia. Got a non-running scooter and I'm getting it back in shape. It's a 2016 IceBear Ghost 50cc. I'm a Jeep and vintage outboard motor mechanic, so the two-wheeled stuff is new to me. Fun learning, though. I just chucked the old motor and put on an out-of-the-box GY6. All is good, but what is this line coming out of the intake manifold area with the forked, Y-shaped line fittings on it? The old motor did not have this line.

If that is the ONLY line coming out of the intake manifold, it is a vacuum line which should connect to the top end of the carb. If the manifold has TWO nipples, one goes to the carb., the other ties into the EMISSIONS CRAP (unless you live in California, my advice is to remove all of that useless crap)! Just plug the lines (I use screws / bolts).

I think i know the emisions crap you speak of. I just removed a metal line that transitions to a rubber tube (connectiong to a weird device that says "AUTO" and it splits (1 hose goes to vaccume line, the other goes to a canister then open air.
(I should remove & plug. Correct?
P.s. couldnt figure out how to add a photo.
