I have just bought a DF50cctka from RedFox Powersports. I have a question about a warning light. It has the capacity to have the front wheels be stable or flexible. When I put it on stable the warning light and buzzer comes on. If I have it set to flexible I don't get that. I am a new rider and want to ride with the wheels in the stable position until I get more comfortable. Did I do something wrong when I attached the front wheels and stablizer bar?

Are you talking about the handle under the left grip? If so, that inserts a steel bar through the "tilt" function of the front end. The warning light and alarm are there to remind you to disengage the handle before riding. If you have not disengaged this handle and have ridden, you discover IMMEDIATELY that turning with just the handlebars is VERY DIFFICULT!! Additionally, your ability to maneuver the trike is SEVERELY COMPROMISED and possibly DANGEROUS (trying to avoid road hazards, potholes, debris, etc. is almost impossible)!
My opinion, embrace the tilt function of your trike! It took me several trips around town to get used to it, so I understand the reluctance, but believe me when I tell you that the tilt-and-turn maneuvers are CRITICAL!
