I'm new to all this forum stuff. But I saw a post from t84a a while back on the same Falcon200 scooter I bought a month ago. I'm 6'3" and 275 lbs. Pretty unimpressed with the scoot out of the box. But with a few upgrades, UNI pod, exhaust, 26mm carb, better CDI, and new variator with 12g sliders, it really moves out. No problem getting to 60 mph. Just thought I'd join the conversation if anyone is interested. I paid $1150 for my Falcon and I'm very happy now.

How is the scooter working out? I'm curious as to how the bigger GY6 engine performs.

It's a story. Out of the box, very sad. I had a 150 a few years ago that was stronger. So... I added an open exhaust, did a large 6" UNI air intake, did a 26mm carb (stock being the 24mm) and running 140 main jet. I added the orange CDI. Then I added a coated 115mm variator with 12g sliders. Did the yellow (1500) 4 springs in the clutch. And finally, it will get up to 60 just fine. And keep in mind, I weigh 275! I have a better camshaft in the mail. Very weird engine I have in that 170cc. It has a GY6B crankshaft in it. The rear plate in the variator has to slide over a 17mm crankshaft. Most of the normal 150s are 15MM. So I had to drill out the plate that came with the NCY variator. Also, I have a 1P61QHK motor. Had no idea how weird and different all the head components would be for the PAIR engine. We'll see if the cam that's coming will even fit. I'll let you know.
