hello everyone. have read posts but never posted and I now need help.

new 400 scooter is having an issue

it will start easy for the first crank but die within a second. it will stay on the 2nd try and keep running.

also, at a stop light, idle will stay a bit high (already warmed up, even after 15 minutes driving) and hang.

im going to guess there may be a part that controls the idle I can take out and clean? maybe sticky throttle plate?

how to clean it? spray carb cleaner into opening while running? is there some sensor that is responsible for the rpm?

any help to assess this is apprecuated

just for curiosity, I kept the throttle a bit open when starting today and it started, and instead of dying a second later, it revved higher (obviously) but kept staying on.
