So my roommate got a scooter recently and it has a problem. In order to start it the kill switch has to be on and you have to pull the brake lever... that's it. Don't have to press the start button. I've replaced the starter switch/kill switch and I've replaced the starter solenoid. I have no clue what else I should do. Anyone have a clue on what I should do?

I’m going to make a guess here…somewhere in that bike’s life, wiring got misplaced. Especially if the kill switch is acting opposite.

I would also check the status or the start button... It might be faulty and stuck on "ON"
