Hi all,
I'm hoping I'm on the right forum and thread page.
I need some help please. I have a 2018 Daelim 125cc Dart in the UK and all of a sudden when I have turned the key to the on position and pulled back on a brake lever (to enable me to start the bike) I then push on the start button but absolutely nothing happens! the scooter is completely dead, there is NO sign of life at all. I have made sure the battery is fully charged but it doesn't make any difference. I have tried taking the front fascia off to look at the ignition barrel but I can't see that there is anything wrong because nothing looks to be out of place although I don't have a service manual so I wouldn't know if it was tbh.
Can anyone help me please?
Cheers, Paul

When you pull the brake lever does the brake light go on? Does that scooter have a kick start lever? Have you tried kick starting it. Have you tried pulling both brake levers? If the brake switch is bad the starter circuit doesn't work. Do all the lights work?

Hi,
When I pull the brake lever the light does not come on. The scooter has a kick start lever but No, the scooter does not start by kicking it. Pulling both brake levers does not make the brake light come on. No, the lights don't come on, I think that it is the problem with the ignition! when I normally turn the key to the on position the fuel gauge normally starts to move and the front headlight would come on! Now, absolutely NOTHING comes on or lights up or anything, the scooter seems completely dead and yet the battery is fully charged....
