The ignition switch ( i think) quit working can use remote start but would like to have key starting to any ideas on what could of happened?

Check your brake light switches. If the light switch is broken the starter won't work with the button.

that's exactly what it is. the two wires that are going to your brake lever well you can connect them together and then see if the starter button works. if it does then that's your issue. remember to put the wires back the way they are otherwise your brake light will stay stuck on.
