Hey so I recently got a job at a scooter dealership as a mechanic and back up salesman. FYI I don’t know anything about scooters or carburetors lol I don’t know how I got hired as a mechanic. I know cars but mainly Honda Toyota and BMW but not scooters. But my boss fronted me a scooter to get to and from work and is taking bits out of my paycheck every payday. I can’t leave things alone when I get them so I have a ncy exhaust system and I cut the muffler down about 40% because it was too quiet lol. Then I have a fully adjustable oem size carburetor with 2 nibbi intake pipes and an air filter mounted outside of the engine compartment. Also I have done a egr/pair delete and I have a breather filter on the crankcase vent. Also I was having vacuum issues so I have a vacuum manifold block that gets it’s vacuum from both the intake pipe and intake manifold vacuum port with hoses from both of them connected to a T then a hose from the T to the manifold. And then 4 out of 5 ports on my manifold are supplying vacuum and it’s actually working great. I have been having a lot of issues getting my scooter tuned right. But I have it basically almost working perfectly. I have a size 35 pilot jet and my needles chip is at the second line from the bottom, and I have a size 105 main jet. The air fuel adjustment screw is 2.5 turns out and it’s smooth till about 50 percent throttle where it then kinda sputters for a sec until I lay off and then back on throttle. But from there it’s smoothe as long as I don’t go full throttle. If I go full throttle it works for a min but then the engine dies completely like it ran out of gas. Then it’s hard to start for a sec after. Does anyone know what I should do from here
