I've just fitted an aftermarket carb to my 2007 symhd200. It was surging etc and wouldn't idle until I removed a hose from the manifold. Now I have a spigot with no hose, and a smoothly running scooter. I'm not tech savvy, so no idea what hose goes where. Its just been trial and error. Here is a picture.

I also have vacuum hoses not connected from a small canister near the fuel tank. The new carb is very basic and I have added a manual petcock and the vacuum one was causing too many issues. The scooter has been sitting for 2 years. I did take her to a scooter mechanic and they couldn't get her running. Shes is idling now and running pretty smooth. Any tips about the manifold etc would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. K
