I'm self-tought on 50cc gy6 engines. I have 4 yes. Experience on my own. Ive just been blessed with my 1st 2 stroke and it comes in the form of a European Retro style and known as a "Bel Aire". Probably the most distinctive feature about this bike is its metal welded-on seat bucket. And the fact that the only way to access to engine is to disconnect the shock and left by the seat bucket to expose the engine in all of its glory. After a we'll deserved steam cleaning everything seems to be in place. (To be determined) Where I'm stuck at is there is no cdi.i just purchased a 2 stroke cdi and as I'm hard wiring it in, I run across something that I haven't seen before.i started hardworking the cdi in, and after the first 3 of 5 wires were connected the last 2 wires are different colors they don't match each other like the other wires do.im left with a red with white stripe, and a blue with a white stripe, there is also an all black wire. I'm not trying to burn out this new cdi by a wrong connection. By any chance from my description is there anyone that's familiar with the maker of the bel aire. Any positive info. Provided would be greatly appreciated
