I'm putting an oil cooler on a Honda with a GY6 based engine. I mounted the cooler just behind where my knees are when seated and screwed the adapter where the filter used to be. On testing at idle there doesn't seem to be any oil flow. I haven't been for a ride yet at 6000 rpm plus.
Anyone any thought or experience? Maybe the oil pump or oil pump drive is faulty. Maybe the oil pump doesn't generate much pressure. Maybe the oil filter is a bypass one and oil is still going to the valve gear.

SORTED. At normal riding speeds say 6000 rpm it seems fine and the oil cooler is getting warm. Obviously the oil pump needs revs to get pumping. I recommend filling the oil cooler before riding. Ask me how I know
