:(I ordered this bulb the other day, got it in, put it on my scoot....very low quality in my opinion, not nearly as good of a beam as the B35 35w standard bulb I am using, and the filament is reversed in the bulb, the bulb shines up higher in the high beam mode when my switch is in the low beam position and vise versa, Total cost of this bulb is $8.48 and not nearly as good as my $1.25 bulb. Just wanted to pass this along, maybe I just got a bad one....who knows, I have requested an exchange from seller, so when I hear from them we will see how that goes, if they send me another bulb and it is a good one that works like it should and is an upgrade I will come back to this thread and correct my warning on the product. Questionable Halogen Headlight

Thanks for the heads up, we all need to know who's a reliable supplier and who isn't. Let us know how the exchange turns out. That is maybe the best avatar on the site... . Rich

Your very welcome, I was just contacted by the seller who told me that he would be mailing me a new bulb out tomorrow, he said that he had not heard of this issue with the bulbs before but thinks maybe I just got a bad one, I guess I will find out when I get the new replacement, the seller responded very quick and seems to be a nice guy, I even told him I would be more than willing to pay for the couple of bucks to ship me the new bulb, because he told me to just keep the one I have instead of mailing it back to him, I figure if he is trying to help me out this way I would not be at all unreasonable for me to pay the shipping on the replacement if he will allow it. I would never take advantage of anyone so I wanted to at least make the offer in fairness.
We'll see how it all turns out here in a few days. Shan

That is maybe the best avatar on the site... . Rich Thanks Rich, I was looking around on some odd sites that had some strange and funny pics on them that who knows who posted, I came across this one and just had to laugh, the more I looked at it the more I liked it, so I thought up the little phrase about the monkey-in and the going bananas and the rest is history.....!

"it does sound like this guy is honest and trying to do the right thing anf that means a lot! Dr. JR"[/quote]
You bet it does, if the new bulb he sends isn't any better I'll just chaulk it up as "ya win some and ya loose some" might just be junk bulbs to start with.
I sure wish I knew if one of those H4 Halogen Bulbs will work on my scoot without draining the battery, I bought a push/pull light switch today and I'm seriously thinking about doing some southern engineering on my light system so I can run one of the H4 bulbs directly off the battery when I make my early morning ride to work and then just leave it off during the day and only have the 2 194 wedge bulbs as my daytime running lights or maybe even replace both of them with a couple of the 1157 LED replacements, they are very bright but dont pull much current at all, I will have some very bright lights on this thing before it's all said and done, I'm not an electrical expert but I have tinkered with it a little, probably just enough to get myself in trouble actually.....LOL
Any good ideas on the subject for a novice like myself?
